Since 2004, COTRI has annually celebrated the CTW Chinese Tourist Awards which showcase Best Practice examples from companies and organisations around the world, with Ctrip joining as our partner in 2018.
The CTW Gold awards showcases winners by sharing examples of their Best Practices in front of an audience. The awards were originally held in Berlin, before moving to Beijing and since 2017, have been held in Shanghai. Unfortunately, those not present at the awards ceremony missed the presentations, and must wait until the following year to see Best Practice examples.
Alternatively, the CTT China Tourism Training online programmes by COTRI contain some 20 Best Practice examples, each focusing on specific China outbound tourism topics. We highly recommend these online trainings to those who wish to educate themselves on China Tourism but they are not free.
Therefore, COTRI is now introducing the official COTRI Instagram account @China.Outbound.Tourism. On our new profile, you will find links to our COTRI WEEKLY editorials, as well as all other information from COTRI regarding fairs, conferences and more.
Even more importantly, the COTRI Instagram page will feature a high degree of User Generated Content (UGC), re-posting photos or videos of Best Practice examples, product adaptations for the Chinese market, activities and events connected to Chinese travelers or just a photo of smiling Chinese customers. Please use this opportunity to interact and share with everybody interested in Chinese outbound tourism by using this exciting platform. We welcome all interactions including Professional Generated Content (PGC) and Occupational Generated Content (OGC) but strictly no outright advertisement.
