
TWCTA Twin Cities Workshop Zürich, Switzerland. Friday 18th January, 2019.

Following its foundation in 2018 the Twin Cities World Tourism Association (TCWTA) will be holding its first workshop in its home city of Zürich, Switzerland on Friday 18th January.
Held at the city’s Volkshaus event space from 9:30 am, the Friday workshop will cover the four core topics of: ‘Why are town and city partnerships so important?’ ‘How can we obtain the highest advantage from town and city partnerships?’ ‘How are town and city partnerships to be experienced and implemented in the present digital age?’ and ‘How can tourism support twin cities?’.
The day will see presentations provided by Burhanettin Kocamaz, Mayor of Mersin, Turkey, COTRI Director Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Georg Arlt, TCWTA General Secretary Hüseyin Baraner and TCWTA President Thomas-Peter Binder.
The following day, Saturday 19th January, will see participants offered the opportunity to enjoy a free day trip to the Swiss city of Lucerne, with transport provided to and from Zürich.
