COTRI Director Prof. Arlt delivers CTW Training in Riga

COTRI Director Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Georg Arlt led a CTW Chinese Tourist Welcome training workshop in Riga, Lativa on Wednesday 13th June, 2018 with the LIAA Investment and Development Agency of Latvia.

In attendance at the event – held at the LIAA headquarters – were a number of representatives from the Latvian tourism industry, as well as employees of numerous museums and international hotels based in the city.

The training carried a special focus on the developments in Chinese outbound tourism in the Latvian market, which saw almost 23,000 Chinese arrivals in 2017 – an increase of over 520% against 2012’s equivalent total of less than 4,000.
