The sixth episode of the China Outbound Travel Pulse series has just been published on the COTRI website, as well as on the series YouTube channel.

In advance of the start of the year of the earth dog on February 16, 2018, the video discusses Chinese outbound travel trends within the context of the Chinese New Year holiday period.

With the spring festival period setting records for the world’s “largest human migration” being set every year as hundreds of millions of people return home to visit friends and family, growing numbers of Chinese residents are looking to take advantage of their time off of work and travel overseas to escape the domestic crowds.

The video sees a number of Chinese outbound tourists interviewed on the topic of travelling internationally during the new year period before presenting an analysis of market trends.

For more information regarding the series, as well as access to all videos produced to date, please see the China Outbound Travel Pulse page on the COTRI website.
