ÔLAVIE, an app-based service allowing Chinese consumers to purchase luxury goods through personal shoppers in Europe and have them directly delivered to China, has been recently launched online.
Calling itself “the first European luxury social commerce marketplace for Chinese consumers”, ÔLAVIE allows users to browse a Chinese language interface to pick out their purchases directly from the European source market. Purchases will then be picked out by the European-based personal shoppers, with whom users are even able to converse with in live chat. Following payment – which can be made via UnionPay – the personal shoppers will ship goods directly to China.
Not only can shoppers be certain that the goods are genuine, but they will also have access to products that may be more expensive in China, or even not available at all.
