
Strategic Partnership Signed Between COTRI and Ctrip

COTRI has signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement with Ctrip, one of China’s leading online travel agencies (OTAs) in the areas of research and knowledge sharing in the Chinese outbound tourism market.
Having been founded in 1999 by James Liang, Shanghai-based Ctrip has grown to be the largest tourism enterprise and online tourism company in China, with over 300 million registered members. Establishing an increasingly global footprint, the company notably acquired Skyscanner in November 2016 and has also made numerous key strategic investments in the United States, Europe, India, South Korea, Japan, Singapore among other locations.
The strategic cooperation between COTRI and Ctrip will see both parties collaborate with the stated goal of furthering understanding of the Chinese outbound tourism market through the provision of joint publications, PR and research.
