
COTRI Director Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Georg Arlt to Speak at the 22nd World Route Development Forum in Chengdu, China.

On Monday 26th September, 2016, COTRI Director Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Georg Arlt will speak on the topic of “Keeping pace with changes in China’s outbound tourism market” at the Tourism Summit as part of World Routes 2016, the 22nd World Route Development Forum in Chengdu, China.
The Tourism Summit will see a number of leading industry figures making presentations on the themes of the strategies, challenges and trends that will shape the future of tourism. Speaking on the same day as Professor Arlt will also be representatives from organisations including: the World Travel and Tourism Council, the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and China Business Network.
Over the course of the three day World Routes forum, which will be held at the Chengdu Century City New International Exhibition & Convention Centre and hosted by Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, as many as 3,000 delegates are expected to be in attendance at the event, in addition to 130 tourism authorities, 700 airports and 300 airlines.
