Palau has become popular among those who are willing to seek new frontiers abroad. 41,679 Chinese visitors arrived in the Pacific region, 151% increase compared to the same quarter in 2014. Of this, 63% visited Palau. According to e-turbonews, the increase is due to the direct flights from Hong Kong and Macau.

Activities range from snorkelling in the reefs to $1,400 helicopter tours across the 70 islands of the archipelago. The visitors appreciate the beauty of the country, lounging on the beach and its clean air.

In Palau, famous for its stunning pristine waters for diving, Tourism accounts for 85% of the GDP.
