Since 2004, CTW Chinese Tourists Welcoming Award is organized annually by the COTRI China Outbound Tourism Research Institute. Year 2010 will see the 7^th time.

Based in Heide, Germany and in Shanghai, China, COTRI is the world’s leading independent research institute for analysis, consulting and quality assessment relating to the Chinese Outbound Tourism market. We hereby sincerely invite all tourism organizations, destination marketing companies, tourism service providers and private companies globally from the leisure, tourism and hospitality sector as well as transportation and retail companies to apply with your products, services or projects for the "CTW Chinese Tourist Welcoming Award 2010".

The CTW Award has been recognized both inside and outside China as the most important award for the Chinese outbound tourism market, reliable index for Chinese tour operators and travellers with its wide coverage in print and electronic media. During the years 2004-2006 it was only selected within European organizations and companies; the award ceremonies were held in Berlin during ITB fair.

From 2007 the CTW Award was fully open for all best practice achievers worldwide; furthermore, the award ceremony has been moved to the main event of China outbound tourism – COTTM China Outbound Travel and Tourism Market in Beijing. The upcoming award ceremony will be held on April 29^ndwith the support of the Tarsus Group, organizer of COTTM.

The CTW Awards are given with Gold, Silver and Bronze awards each under five categories:

• Product Innovation
• Internet/Media
• Service Quality
• Marketing
• Overall Performance

The application is free of charge. Participants are required to provide information about their products, services, and/or projects related to the Chinese incoming market and examples in the form of brochures, online information, press releases or other materials.
